A natural wonder

The most recognized landmark in Cape Town is Table Mountain, a significant tourist attraction with many visitors using the cableway or hiking to the top. Table Mountain is officially one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. The cableway operates every day, weather permitting, and tickets and information are readily available online.

Clifton sits on the Atlantic Seaboard side of the Cape Town between Lion's Head mountain and the Atlantic Ocean. Lion's Head sits between Table Mountain and Signal Hill forming a dramatic part of the backdrop to Cape Town. On a clear day the views from the top are spectacular and the walk to the summit should take less than two hours. Full Moon hikes are the perfect opportunity for panoramic views at dusk.
